We’re excited to have you as part of The Uplands in Hawkwood, and we hope you enjoy everything our community has to offer. As a new homeowner, you’re automatically a member of the Uplands Homeowners Association (UHA), which gives you access to our exclusive facilities, services, and events.

Member Benefits & Amenities

As a member of the UHA, you can enjoy the following benefits:
  • Community Centre: Our community centre is perfect for both personal and professional events. The Event Room accommodates up to 90 people and features a cozy fireplace and a balcony with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. You can also arrange liquor permits and catering for your events. 
  • Recreational Facilities: The Community Centre is card-key accessible between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily. The lower level of the centre includes a squash court, swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, and workout equipment. Outside, we have two tennis courts and a multipurpose court for basketball, pickleball, and other sports.
  • RV Storage: Residents have access to a convenient, affordable RV storage lot, located close to their homes.
  • Landscaping and Maintenance: The UHA takes pride in maintaining the lush, park-like environment of The Uplands. We manage the landscaping of all common areas, including snow removal in the winter, grass cutting in the summer, and planting vibrant flowers in community medians. Our efforts were recognized with the 2010 LANTA Landscaping Award!
  • Architectural Standards: The UHA ensures that the architectural and development guidelines are followed to maintain the community's high standards and aesthetic appeal.

We love bringing our community together! The UHA organizes several events throughout the year, including:
  • Stampede Breakfast
  • Kids' Halloween Party
  • Santa Breakfast
  • Seasonal Potluck Dinners

Getting Started

Please stop by the Recreation Centre for a tour of our amenities. Our Facility Manager, Darlene, and her team will be happy to give you a tour and set up your facility access card. You can also drop off your PAD form or post-dated cheques at the office.
