Upcoming Uplands Fitness Classes!
Hello Fitness Enthusiasts!
As you know, the provincial Covid-19 restrictions have yet to be lifted for fitness and recreation facilities, and so in the interim, we are again offering our virtual classes – the same ones that were offered before Christmas to finish off our Fall session. As soon as restrictions are lifted, the classes will resume in-person at the Uplands Recreation Centre, with the added option of continuing to do the classes virtually if that is your preference.
Cardio Classes
Boomer Bootcamp – Mon mornings 9:30-10:30 am (17 wks – March 1st through June 28th, excluding Victoria Day May 24th)
Total Body Tabata – Fri mornings 9:30-10:30 am (16 wks – March 5th through June 25th, excluding Good Friday April 2nd)
Mind-Body Classes
Candlelight Yoga & Relaxation – Thurs evenings, 8:00-9:00 pm (17 wks - March 4th through June 24th inclusive)
Gentle Yoga – Thurs afternoons, 1:30-2:30 pm (17 wks - March 4th through June 24th inclusive)
Seniors' Mobility & Balance – Tues afternoons, 1:30-2:30 pm (18 wks - March 2nd through June 29th inclusive)
Yoga Flow – Mon evenings 7:00-8:00 pm (17 wks – March 1st through June 28th, excluding Victoria Day May 24th)
Yoga for Strength & Mobility – Sat mornings 10:00-11:00 am (16 wks - March 6th through June 26th , excluding Easter Saturday April 3rd)

(NEW) Multi-Class passes are now sold in increments of 5 classes:*
Single class drop-ins are available for $11/class (R) & $13/class (NR)
*All passes are valid until the end of June, 2021.
All registrations and payments must be done online through our Wellness Living software, which can be accessed here.

- Our cardio classes are currently being offered via You-Tube links where you can access the classes anytime it suits your schedule, including during the usual class time.
- Our yoga and seniors’ classes are currently being offered via Zoom where the classes are live-streamed in their regular timeslots and the participants have the benefit of interacting with the instructors in real time.
- Once the classes resume in person, they will all be recorded live and uploaded later in the day to You-Tube where you can access them anytime it suits your schedule.
