"My philosophy of 80/20 is my lifestyle and what I teach to. 80% of the time I eat healthy and 20% of the time I enjoy some luxuries! Included in that is of course keeping your body moving with cardio and strength training.
My success is to see my clients succeed in leading a healthy and happy life."
Michelle is an AFLCA Group Fitness & Resistance Training Specialist that really loves focusing on "positive body image" and a "judgement free" class environment. Originally from Nova Scotia she moved here 18 years ago after graduating at the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Her love of fitness began very early when she started running in Junior High to relieve stress and boredom from growing up in a small town. She keeps active by playing around with her two daughters, walking every evening with her husband and precious dog, playing tennis, biking, and performing short workouts in her basement or garage.
Michelle believes that working out should never be considered punishment. If you feel that way then you are doing something wrong. The best feedback she has ever gotten from her participants was how fast her hour long classes seem to fly by and how her modifications includes everyone. If you want an hour of fun try her class, you might even enjoy sweating!!!
