The Uplands offers two outdoor courts for tennis, pickleball and basketball that are available to UHA members. Positioned on terraced levels and enclosed by chain-link fences, the courts provide stunning views of the surrounding community.
Court Layout
- Upper Court: Dedicated strictly to tennis for a focused playing experience.
- Lower Court: A multipurpose space, equipped for pickleball, tennis and basketball. The court has been resurfaced with durable materials and features basketball hoops to accommodate a variety of sports. NO street hockey or hockey sticks are allowed on any of the courts.
Access
You can access the courts through the rear exit door on the lower level of the Rec Centre, which is conveniently located near the locker rooms. Please note that this door is for exit only, so be sure to bring your card-key to re-enter through the main entrance.
Facility access is available daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.—make sure to confirm the hours beforehand.

Booking
To ensure availability during the busy summer months, we highly recommend reserving a tennis court in advance using our Wellness Living booking system. Courts can be booked in one-hour increments. Consecutive bookings are discouraged to allow fair use by all members, but if no one has booked the next hour, you may continue playing.
Priority is always given to those with confirmed bookings.

Rules & Regulations
- Proper attire is required, including appropriate footwear with non-marking soles.
- No alcohol is permitted on the courts at any time.
- No Hockey sticks on any of the courts
